Change of name of Fitch Ratings to India Ratings and Research Private Limited (India Ratings)

Fitch India has been accredited for the purpose of risk weighting the banks’ claims for capital adequacy purposes alongwith other credit rating agencies (CRAs). However, pursuant to the splitting of Indian operations of Fitch Ratings into domestic and international operations, the name of the wholly owned subsidiary to be responsible for assigning domestic ratings has been changed to ‘India Ratings and Research Private Limited (India Ratings)’. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued the necessary Certificate of Registration on May 20,
2012.
